Breast Enlargement | Breast Implant in Delhi

An increase in the size of the breasts by surgical insertion of breast implants is called breast augmentation. Augmentation mammoplasty is usually performed to enlarge small breasts or breasts that have reduced in size after a woman has children. This is accomplished surgically by placing an implant on the back of each breast. Also implants are safe and there is no evidence to suggest that they cause breast cancer or other diseases. Your surgeon will be able to discuss this further at the time of consultation.

The surgery is performed under a general anesthetic. Three types of incisions can be made for this surgery. An incision is usually made either below the breast, arela (pigmented skin around the nipple), or in the armpit. A pocket for the implant is made behind the breast tissue, or behind the muscle between the breast and chest wall. The implant is pocketed and the pocket is closed.

After surgery, you will wear a blurred dressing or surgical bra. After surgery, there are probably some restrictions of vigorous activities, especially lifting heavy objects. Most women can return to work in one week and normal activities in about 2-3 weeks. It will also depend on your general level of fitness and the type of job you do.
Among the known risks associated with breast implants in Delhi, the most common are capsular shrinkage, tightening of scar tissue around the implant, resulting in varying degrees of breast firmness and may result in pain or changes in the appearance of the breast. Other known risks include implant rupture (deflation of a saline-filled implant) and temporary or permanent changes in the nipple or blood sensation. Traditionally, breast implants in Delhi are round and work by adding volume to the breasts. However a new variety called tear-shaped implants is also now available which gives a more natural shape to the breasts.

Fat grafting for breast enlargement
The fat taken from the patient's own body is the latest procedure to add volume to the breasts. Fat is usually taken from the patient's abdomen, thighs, or buttocks by liposuction, which is processed and transferred to the breast. It is more natural than implants and can also be used to fill the postoperative defects of breast reconstruction. Fat grafting can be used to add volume and shape to breasts with implants. Fat grafting is a good procedure to correct asymmetry in the size of both breasts. Dr. Swaroop Singh Gambhir has extensive experience in fat grafting and it is being done regularly.
